Red State Blues
This is an attempt to write online, interactively, a traditional 12-bar blues song whose first verse culminates in the phrase "you got the red states, I got the blues." Biting satire and hopeful left-leaning sentiment is welcomed. Right-wing gloating is discouraged.

Doc - I think you'll like the serious civil war song I'm working on better - very personal and non-partisan unlike the highly anti-Repuclican bias in "Red State" - I will be sure to let you hear that one when it's done - the demo will be sung by former major country-music artist jeff carson.
Meanwhile, back at the blues...
